The entire main cast is back together in "The Devil Wears Prada 2". Meryl Streep slips back into her signature role as Miranda, Anne Hathaway returns as Andy, Emily Blunt is back as Emily and Stanley Tucci is also back as Nigel. But the cast is growing: new additions include Hollywood greats such as Kenneth Branagh (as Miranda's husband) , Lucy Liu and Justin Theroux. A small detail for those familiar with the first part: Adrian Grenier, who played Andy's friend Nate, is not in the sequel - a decision that many fans may well welcome given the criticism of his role at the time.
The fact that the film feels as authentic as the original is down to the team behind the camera. Disney has managed to re-engage the creative minds from 2006: David Frankel is once again directing and the screenplay was once again penned by Aline Brosh McKenna. This ensures that the biting humor and sharp dialogue that made the first part a classic are retained.
