Mad Max Prequel "Furiosa": First Image and Trailer Expectations

We finally have the first impressions of the Mad Max movie "Furiosa"! On the occasion of the CCXP in São Paulo, Brazil, a first image of the prequel was revealed. A trailer will also be shown.

The image published by Collider shows a golden statue of the title character Furiosa, played by Anya Taylor-Joy. The movie is about her origin story. It tells how she is abducted from her homeland, grows up with a biker gang and finally ends up in the Citadel with Immortan Joe. On this occasion, she also meets another main character, played by Chris Hemsworth.

Interestingly, in the picture she already looks like the mature warrior Charlize Theron portrayed in "Mad Max: Fury Road" - including her mechanical arm. We imagine that the shot can be seen at the beginning of the movie and takes place after the action of its predecessor: Furiosa is revered like a saint and the question arises: how did she become this iconic figure? A flashback can then provide us with the answer. "Furiosa" opens in cinemas on May 24, 2024.

But the first image is just a sneak peek at the action spectacle: the first "Furiosa" trailer will also be presented at the CCXP trade fair on Thursday/Friday. Of course you will be able to watch it immediately at KinoCheck!
