Exciting rumor about "Spider-Man: Brand New Day"! According to insider Daniel Richtman, the supervillain squad The Enforcers will probably feature in the new Marvel film. The report has not yet been officially confirmed and should therefore be treated with caution. However, an unnamed source is said to have already seen Richtman's concept art of the Enforcers, suggesting a possible involvement in the film.

As a supervillain team, the Enforcers are already known from the comic books published by Marvel. There, they usually make life difficult for Spider-Man or Daredevil as assassins for hire. Their first appearance was decades ago. They made their debut in 1964 in the comic series "The Amazing Spider-Man". The original members of the Enforcers are Ox alias Raymond Bloch, Montana alias Jackson Brice and Fancy Dan alias Daniel Brito.

The Enforcers are not the only ones to appear

In "Spider-Man: Brand New Day", the Enforcers will also consist of the three villains. Frederick Foswell aka Big Man will also be on board. Foswell also made his debut in the 1964 comic, where he hired Ox, Montana and Fancy Dan to seize power in New York City's underworld. As expected, Spider-Man was not particularly enthusiastic about this.

It remains to be seen whether the premise of the original comic will be reflected in a similar form in "Spider-Man: Brand New Day". In addition to the Enforcers, however, another character is set to appear in the film. It was previously speculated that Rosario Dawson would play Claire Temple. Now Richtman has once again confirmed that she is part of the cast of "Spider-Man: Brand New Day".

Brand New Day: speculation about Daredevil

In the Marvel universe, Claire Temple is a nurse who made her first appearance in the Netflix series "Daredevil". She soon developed into a helpful comrade-in-arms to the titular hero, who was in need of medical care as he fought crime. Alongside Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, this would be another character from the Netflix era of Marvel. Especially as the rumor persists that Matt Murdock aka Daredevil will also be involved. This is despite the fact that Daredevil actor Charlie Cox has denied his participation.

"Brand New Day" is the fourth "Spider-Man" film with Tom Holland in the role of the titular hero aka Peter Parker. What the new adventure is about in detail has not yet been officially announced. However, as our video shows, there is already a lot of speculation about the plot:

Spider-Man: A family-friendly movie

The appearance of the Punisher and possible guest appearances by Claire Temple and Daredevil could suggest that things will be much more brutal and bloody in "Brand New Day" than in the previous "Spider-Man" films. After all, the Netflix series from Marvel were neither squeamish nor suitable for all ages when it came to depicting violence. However, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has already given the all-clear. Despite the presence of the Punisher, he confirmed last year that "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" would once again be a family-friendly film.

In any case, it won't be long before everyone can get their own impression of the latest "Spider-Man" adventure. "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" will be released in cinemas on July 31, 2026. In addition to lead actor Tom Holland, "Euphoria" star Zendaya will also be back as Peter Parker's ex-girlfriend Michelle "MJ" Jones-Watson. Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers are once again responsible for the screenplay. The two were also the writers of the three previous films"Spider-Man: Homecoming", "Far From Home" and "No Way Home". The director, however, is no longer Jon Watts, but Destin Daniel Cretton. He had previously directed a film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings".
