Here are the 2026 Oscar Nominations!

The 2026 Oscar nominations are here! The 98th Academy Awards ceremony will take place on March 15, 2026. As usual, the most important film event of the year will honor the outstanding actors, directors, screenwriters and co. for their achievements.

Of course, the focus is on the Best Picture Award. The favorite is "One Battle After Another". Paul Thomas Anderson's masterpiece starring Leonardo diCaprio about the absurd struggle of an ex-revolutionary won awards at the Golden Globes, among others. It has now been nominated in 13 Oscar categories. But another film surprisingly surpassed that: "Sinners" was nominated in 16 categories – a new Oscar record! This means that Ryan Coogler's horror film with Michael B. Jordan can also hope to win a few prizes.

"Marty Supreme" from A24 is currently receiving a lot of buzz. The new film by Josh Safdie has been nominated nine times. After his Golden Globes win, Timothée Chalamet is considered the favorite for the award for Actor in a Leading Role. Guillermo del Toro's "Frankenstein" and "Sentimental Value" with Stellan Skarsgård also received nine nominations. The emotional drama "Hamnet" should not be underestimated. Many experts believe that "Hamnet" has a real chance of winning some important Academy Awards. Eight nominations only support these statements.
