After the Golden Globes: These are the Oscar nominations for the Academy Awards

The nominations for the film industry's most important award have now been published. In

the following you will find an overview of the nominations that we consider to be the most

important, but of course this does not claim to be complete.

At the top of the list is the joker the industry's favourite with leading actor Joaquin Phoenix

has received 11 nominations, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Leading Actor and Best

Camera.

Close to that is the Netflix Mafia epic the irishman with ten nominations, including Best

Picture, Best Directing, twice in Best Supporting Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best

Production Design.

Also nominated ten times are Once Upon A Time In Hollywood as well as the World War

drama 1917.

In the supreme discipline of Best Film, the films already mentioned also compete with

Marriage Story, Jojo Rabbit, Little Women, Parasite and Le Mans 66.

overall the Streaming Gigant Netflix is nominated with 20 films. But how many of them they

will take an Oscar home is rather questionable after their modest performance at the

Golden Globes with only two prizes.

The Academy Awards this year will take place on February 9th as usual in the famous Dolby

Theatre in Los Angeles.
