Overview

In 1989, scientist Hank Pym leaves S.H.I.E.L.D. after discovering their secret plans to replicate his Ant-Man shrinking technology. He vows to protect it from misuse. In the present, his daughter Hope and protege Darren Cross oust him from his company, Pym Technologies, aiming to create the dangerous Yellowjacket suit.

Ex-convict Scott Lang struggles to support his daughter, Cassie. Facing financial hardship, he joins his friend Luis for a burglary job. During a heist, Lang stumbles upon a mysterious suit, shrinking himself accidentally. Panicked, he returns it but gets caught. Pym arrives at jail and secretly provides the suit, ready to help Lang escape.

Pym manipulated Lang through Luis, seeing him as the ideal Ant-Man candidate to stop Cross. They train Lang, teaching him combat and ant communication. Pym reveals Janet's past as the original Wasp, who vanished in the Quantum Realm while saving the world.

Cross perfects Yellowjacket, unveiling it at Pym Technologies. Lang, aided by ants, infiltrates the event, sabotaging the servers. Cross captures Lang, Pym, and Hope, planning to sell their suits to Hydra. Lang and Hope break free, battling Hydra agents. Pym gets shot, and Lang pursues Cross. Explosions occur as they escape.

Cross takes Cassie hostage and Scott dares a dangerous action to save his daughter.
